Virtual cocktail afterwork with Pernod Ricard : how to prepare Lillet drinks ?

On wednesday, April 29th, we organised our first virtual afterwork online together with Pernod Ricard Sweden. An occasion to mingle among peers and to learn how to prepare delicious Lillet cocktails. 

 

We were delighted to welcome Björn Kjellberg, Brand Ambassador Craft Spirits for Pernod Ricard and Sophie Linuusaar, Brand Manager French Portfolio. Björn Kjellberg was named “Bartender of the Year” and “Industry improver of the Year” at Bartender’s Choice Awards. 

Maison Lillet was found at Podensac next to Bordeaux in 1872 by two brothers, Paul and Raymond Lillet. They created a wine-based aperitif made of local Bordeaux wines and artisanal fruit liquors. During the 20th century, Lillet became famous worldwide and had its unexpected brand ambassadors like James Bond and his 007’s Vesper Cocktail in Casino Royale. The success of Lillet led to the launch of two new drinks : Lillet rouge in 1962 and Lillet rosé in 2011. But do not expect to learn how to make your own Lillet, the recipe is still secret!

After the presentation of the company and its history, Björn offered his precious tips and answered the participants’ questions on how to prepare three Lillet-based cocktails, showing them every step of the recipes. We can thereby assert that 17 extra people know how to prepare a Lillet vive, a Lillet buck and the famous 007’s Lillet vesper Martini! We warmly thank brand ambassadors Björn Kjellberg and Sophie Linuusaar for their professionalism and good humour. 

This virtual event was above all an occasion to keep the link between our business community in this period of uncertainty. As soon as the situation allows it, we will of course organise a real afterwork in Stockholm, and we hope you will join us.
