Smart/Sustainable Cities and Communities – cooperation opportunities with the Nordic countries and France

As the outreach of urban areas grows, creating sustainable cities to live in are one of the major concerns for all the biggest actors on the planet. This is obviously the case for all European countries.

Welcome to the SIS seminar on “Smart Cities” organised on the occasion of the Chairman of ISO & CEN Smart Cities Committees, Bernard Gindroz, visit to Stockholm on March 22nd. The seminar will focus on collaboration opportunities offered by the French-Swedish Partnership for Innovation and Green Solutions and the European Commission.

Talks will be held by Sepehr Mousavi and Yacine Slamti from the Swedish Smart/Sustainable Cities Standardisation Committee, Martin Fröberg from the Swedish Ministry of Entreprise and Innovation, as well as Dr. Bernard Gindroz.

Dr. Bernard Gindroz is, since 2014, an independent consultant on Energy, Climate Change, Smart Cities and Communities and Transport, with a special focus on innovation, policies and standardization. He is very active in standardization related work, as Chairman of the ISO TC 268 (Sustainable Development of Smart Cities and Communities) since 2016, Chairman of the CEN/CENELEC Sector Forum Energy Management and an active board member of several major Standardization Coordination Groups.
