Preparing Global Leaders in a Modern World
On April 24th, we organized “Preparing Global Leaders in a Modern World” in collaboration with AmCham, the Swiss Chamber, the BSCC, the Dutch Chamber and the AFS, at our member Grant Thornton.
Moderated by Margareta Neld, Chairman of the Swedish AFS Intercultural Programs, the evening began with a presentation by our keynote speaker Meg Tivéus, professional board member of many companies: “Your Power comes from the Inside; Life, Leadership and Quality of Life”.
This presentation was followed by a panel of discussion with Barbara Zehnder, image consultant, Karin Björkman, founder of Undutchables Sweden, Yves Chantereau, partner and Chairman of Equator and Karin Henriksson, author and journalist for Svenska Dagbladet among others, as well as Alice Leroy and Alayna Woodall, French and American students with the AFS.
The panel discussed the global aspects and the generational differences of leadership, digitalisation, multiculturalism, intercultural challenges and their effects in a business context.
The event ended with mingle and networking with wine and appetizers.
We would like to thank the members of the panel for discussing their experiences as well as Grant Thornton, for hosting this event and welcoming our members.
