Online café discussion on job search in Sweden

On Tuesday the 26th of May, we organised an online “café discussion” about job search in Sweden. Moderated by Estelle Darrigade, in charge of the recruitment and HR department at the CCFS, this meeting was the occasion for the participants to exchange on their career project.

While que covid-19 outbreak compromises all physical meetings, the CCFS adapts to the new circumstances by organising events online. The Tuesday’s café discussion was thus the first of its kind, HR events being generally organised in the form of workshops. 

The main themes we discussed during this meeting were the differences between the French and the Swedish job markets, the sectors in the economy that are recruiting and of course the consequences of the current crisis on employment in Sweden. Each participant could present itself and ask its questions to Estelle, and it was also for them the occasion to get in contact with other job seekers in Sweden. For the recruitment department of the CCFS, the event was important in order to take the measure of the participants’ specific expectations regarding entrepreneurship in Sweden, career change or the use of social media.

We thank every participant for their presence and we hope to organise a new “café discussion” soon !
