Institut Français
The French Institute in Sweden succeeds the “Franska Institutet,” founded in 1937. The Institut Français carries out all the missions defined by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs:
- Promote the integration of French research within the Swedish system and foster scientific cooperation
- Monitor scientific, technological, and academic developments
- Support student mobility and promote higher education in France
- Promote and disseminate French culture and language through cooperation programs
- Facilitate cultural exchanges (visual and performing arts), co-produce performances in Sweden in connection with French creation, and develop partnerships with institutions
The Institut Français program covers cultural, artistic, literary, scientific, educational, and linguistic cooperation through multiple activities: exhibitions, conferences, debates, cinema, concerts, dance and theater performances, etc.

Atout France – French Tourism Development Agency
Atout France is an Economic Interest Group (G.I.E) reflecting a partnership between the State, local authorities, tourism professionals, and major sectors of the economy. Its main mission is to promote "Destination France" in all its forms.
