CFO Committee | Finance and Crisis Management — 28 May, Air France KLM

On 28 May 2026, the CCFS CFO Committee gathered for a breakfast session at the Air France/KLM offices in Stockholm, centred around one of the most pressing themes facing finance leaders today: Finance & Crisis Management, How to stay agile in a moving environment.

In a world marked by growing geopolitical uncertainty, fluctuating oil prices and ongoing supply chain disruptions, the ability to anticipate, adapt and make sound financial decisions under pressure has never been more critical. This session offered a timely and practical exploration of these challenges, with members sharing their own experiences and strategies for maintaining financial resilience in turbulent times.

August Van de Beek from Air France KLM brought a valuable first-hand perspective to the table, presenting the concrete measures Air France has implemented to navigate this complex environment, offering rare insight into how a major international player manages crisis from within.

The discussion was rich, open and truly interactive, reflecting the high level of engagement and expertise within the CFO Committee. Members left with new ideas, fresh perspectives and a stronger sense of the shared challenges facing finance leaders across industries.

We thank Air France/KLM and August Van de Beek for their generous hospitality, a special thank you to Adrien Trou from Schneider Electric for his great support in organising this committee, and to all participants for the quality of the debate. See you at the next session! 🇫🇷🇸🇪
