HR Committee: Key Highlights from Our “Breaking the KPI Bias” Session
The French-Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Sweden warmly thanks Eurolawyers for hosting our HR Committee session, “Breaking the KPI Bias,” featuring Cécile Jouffray, an expert in psychometrics and talent science.
During the session, we explored the challenges women face when being evaluated against traditionally male-coded KPIs.
Too often, leadership KPIs reflect masculine norms, which can limit women’s access to high-responsibility roles and penalize them when their leadership styles do not align with traditional expectations.
Although women’s representation has increased over the decades, it remains structurally lower at senior levels. Cécile provided valuable insights into how companies can improve gender balance in leadership roles by rethinking evaluation metrics and promoting more inclusive leadership standards.
The session was also a wonderful opportunity to share our thoughts and have an in-depth discussion on this important topic.
