Intercultural Leadership in Action: Strengthening Franco-Swedish Collaboration
On March 9–10, 2026, the CCFS and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in France, in collaboration with the Stiftelsen Svensk-Franska Språkfonden, hosted a two-day training on Intercultural Leadership.
Over the course of the event, participants engaged in interactive workshops, group discussions, and case studies designed to address the challenges of managing across cultures in a Franco-Swedish context. They explored practical tools to enhance collaboration, communication, and innovation, learning how to transform cultural differences into drivers of performance.
The training was led by Laurence Romani, Professor at the Stockholm School of Economics, and enriched by guest speakers Frédéric Guillaume (General Manager EMEA at Babybjörn), Jan Malmborg (Global Sales Director at Dassault Systems), and Birgitta Finnander (Director strategy and Business Support R&D Networks at Ericsson), who shared their experiences and insights on turning cultural differences into strengths.
Beyond the learning experience, the event offered a unique opportunity for professionals from France and Sweden to connect, exchange ideas, and strengthen the Franco-Swedish business community.
