Housing for young workers and students in Stockholm
It can be difficult to find a place to stay when you're not from the country. Housing frauds are unfortunately not uncommon. Here are some tips to avoid being scammed - don't hesitate to share with them before arriving:
Warning signs:
- The landlord being abroad, he cannot schedule a viewing of the rental.
- He asks you to pay the deposit through either bank transfer to UK or Western Union.
- He pushes to close the deal quickly arguing many candidates are interested
- The monthly rent is lower than the market price (too good to be true !).
